EVA HEAD COACH


Founder and Head Coach of Volleyball WinnipegLus Tremblay has been coaching volleyball for 30+ years with 27 Provincial Championship medals and numerous top-five finishes at Nationals.

Luc Tremblay has developed most of the training techniques used by VISION coaches and is responsible for the coach development program at Volleyball Winnipeg.

Luc Tremblay will be leaving for Calgary September 2024 and is looking forward to working with local coaches at developing young volleyball players outside of the club volleyball system.

Youth volleyball League Program

Designed for boys and girls under 14, as well as girls aged 13-18, our league focuses on enjoyment and skill-building. This recreational program emphasizes personal growth over competition, ensuring a fun and encouraging environment

How to Register

FAMILY DISCOUNT

 If you are registering more than one child for this program you are entitled to a 25% discount on additional children. The discount is automatic; however, all must be registered at the same time in order for the system to recognize the family registration

REGISTRATION DEADLINE

 Registration is ongoing until the camp is full. Registration is on a first-come basis.

SPACE LIMITED

 Each camp will be limited to a maximum of 20 participants on a first-come basis

REFUNDS

 If you withdraw your child prior to the start of the first scheduled session, a full refund will be provided. Anyone requesting a refund after the start of camp will be provided with a credit to be used for any Volleyball Winnipeg program.

Why attend VISION Elite OTR Camps

These volleyball camps are conducted by experienced VISION Elite Volleyball Club instructors designed to challenge participants. The objective of the volleyball camp is to produce fast-paced sessions in which everyone is engaged in the drills.


This is an excellent opportunity for athletes considering club volleyball to come out and meet our coaching staff and other athletes also interested in pursuing club volleyball. Come out and see for yourself why VISION Elite is the very best place in Winnipeg for technical training. 


VISION Elite Volleyball Club is a Volleyball Winnipeg High Performance Program. VISION Elite teams represent our club at Provincial and National Championships. Try outs are held in December and the Club Volleyball season runs from December until May.

  • Athlete Worksheet: all participants will be provided with a written skills checklist outlining skill progressions, cue words and exercises athletes can perform at home to improve 
  • Written Athlete Evaluation: Coaches will review each athlete’s skill level, understanding of the game and athleticism. This will be submitted to each athlete at the end of camp
  • VISION Elite coaches will provide honest assessments of every athlete with an emphasis on technical development



Summer Camps with VISION Volleyball Club


Volleyball camps in Calgary, Alberta are organized by VISION Elite Volleyball coaches who strive to bring guest coaches and outside instructors to bring a variety of talent to each session. This is an excellent opportunity for athletes considering club volleyball to come out and train in a challenging environment. Come out and see for yourself what strong technical training and team tactics can do to take your game to the next level.


EVERY TRAINING SESSION CONSISTS OF THE FOLLOWING


1.    Warm-up Volleyball Games: Designed to ensure athletes get to meet each other in an inviting and competitive environment

2.    Volleyball Skill Development: Volleyball Drills with a focus on high-repetition and technical correction

3.    Team Play: Every training session concludes with a series of volleyball team drills designed to teach participants about the game’s systems of play


CAMP PHILOSOPHY


•    Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each session. Please e-mail us if your child cannot attend

•    Please arrive early - preferably 5‐10 min. early

•    Dress like a volleyball player – wear the correct shoes, shorts and a comfortable t-shirt

•    Our top priority is to help each athlete improve, regardless of their initial skill level

•    Instructors are expected to treat every athlete equally with encouragement – while creating a positive environment for everyone

•    The focus is on delivering results through high-repetition volleyball drills 

•    Provide plenty of water breaks/snack breaks as needed

•    We encourage all athletes to let coaches know if there are any issues during volleyball camp
