Apprenticeship Program

1. Coaching Assistant

• ​Role: Assist head coaches in planning and conducting practices, providing support during games, and mentoring athletes.
• ​Skills: Basic volleyball knowledge, communication skills, ability to work with youth and adults.

2. Event Coordinator

• ​Role: Organize and manage events such as tournaments, fundraisers, and community outreach activities.
• ​Skills: Organizational skills, event planning experience, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks.

3. Team Manager

• Role: Handle administrative tasks for teams, including scheduling, communication with parents and players, and logistics.
• Skills: Organizational skills, communication skills, familiarity with email and scheduling tools.

4. Referee and Scorekeeper

• Role: Officiate games, keep score, and ensure the rules are followed during matches.
• Skills: Knowledge of volleyball rules, attention to detail, impartiality.

5. Marketing and Communications Volunteer

• Role: Manage social media accounts, create promotional materials, write newsletters, and handle public relations.
• Skills: Writing and communication skills, experience with social media platforms, marketing knowledge.

6. Fundraising Volunteer

• Role: Plan and execute fundraising activities, seek sponsorships, and manage donor relations.
• Skills: Fundraising experience, persuasive communication, networking skills.

7. Camp Counselor

• Role: Supervise and mentor young athletes during camps, assist with drills and activities, ensure safety.
• Skills: Leadership, patience, enthusiasm, basic volleyball knowledge.

8. Equipment Manager

• Role: Maintain and manage volleyball equipment, set up and take down equipment for practices and games.
• Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, physical fitness.

9. Volunteer Coordinator

• Role: Recruit, train, and manage volunteers, ensure volunteers are engaged and recognized for their efforts.

10. Health and Safety Officer

• Role: Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed, manage first aid during events and practices.

• Role: Capture photos and videos of events, practices, and games for promotional and archival purposes.
• Skills: Photography/videography skills, knowledge of photo/video editing software.
